Rick Salazar
Associate Pastor
Rick accepted Christ as his personal Savior on August 21, 1978 at youth
camp. In high school, he answered God's call to full-time
Christian service. He graduated from Baptist Bible
College in 1993 with a BS degree in Bible. He felt the Lord's call to the youth ministry, where he served for over 25 years. He served
as our youth director from 1994 - 2008. In July of 2008, he became our
Associate Pastor. He leads the visitation and outreach
programs, and teaches an adult Sunday School
class. He enjoys teaching the High School Bible Class in our Academy as
well. He counts it a privilege to be able to serve the Lord in full-time
ministry through Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Paul Corlew
Youth Director
Paul was saved at the age of five. When he was 17, he surrendered his life to
the Lord to accomplish His will. God has given him a burden to work with
teens and to see them grow in Christ. Paul graduated from Heartland Baptist
Bible College in May 2007. He served a 2 year internship learning all
aspects of church ministry before becoming Youth director at Cornerstone in
July 2008. He married Chrystal, the Associate Pastor's daughter, in June,
2007 and they have one son.

Dr. Donald Mitchell
Pastor
Pastor Mitchell was saved in October 1960. He taught Sunday School and was involved in various ministries before becoming a full time youth director, where he served the Lord for over 15 years. He attended Indiana Baptist College. Pastor Don has been the only pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church, which is now been in existence for over 30 years. He has led the church to numerical, financial, and most importantly, spiritual growth. Pastor Mitchell feels that God has richly blessed him in allowing him to have the privilege of leading this great church.

Adam Moore
Music Director
Adam was saved in July 1991
at a Vacation Bible School
in Spruce Pine, North Carolina.
He surrendered to the ministry at
the age of 16.
Adam attended Pensacola Christian College and graduated from there in May of 2005. His desire
and heart is music and seeing souls saved.

Tonya Salazar
Church Secretary
Growing up in a Christian home, her parents showed her the plan of salvation. She made a profession of faith at age 5, but then struggled with knowing that she never truly asked Christ into her heart. In October 1981, while attending Baptist Bible College in Missouri, Tonya accepted Christ as her Savior. She attended BBC for youth and secretarial administration. She is married to Rick Salazar, Associate Pastor at Cornerstone, and they have four children.
